Bonnell spring units: It is the classic and most popular type of innersprings made of a 5-turn (convolutions) steel coil interconnected in rows by helical wire. Bonnell innersprings are reliable, durable and have very good resilience. The coils are manufactured from oven-tempered steel wire (to 300^oC), phosphate coated and have a tensile strength of 160-180 kg/mm2. We manufacture spring units with 2,00mm and 2,20mm thickness wire, coil height of 10cm or 13cm with or without flat steel frame of 1.4mm x 10mm. Other specifications are possible. When exporting, the spring units are roll packed to maximise the loading capacity inside the container. 

Pocket spring units: Pocket spring units are made of individual spring coils (rather than the interconnected ones) wrapped in a small non-woven fabric sack pocketed and held in a row among one another, forming the unit. Due to the fact that they can move independently, the total flexibility allows the mattress to respond to the user’s precise shape, weight and size. Pocketed spring units are particularly known for their high point by point elasticity, leading to independent motion, thus avoiding disturbing the other sleeper when one sleeper moves. We can provide “zoned” pocket spring units with patterns of spring coils of different hardness. 

Coir fibre pads: Coir Fibre is made from matured coconut fibre husk which is soaked, crushed, combed and dried. Coir Fibre possesses a number of distinct advantages such as high moisture absorption, it is biodegradable and environmentally safe, it has a slow decomposition rate, is durable and acts as an excellent spring isolator. Amelco manufactures coir fibre interlaced with polypropylene net in pads and rolls of up to 215cm in width with densities ranging from 1200g/m² to 1500g/m².   

Pillows: Our standard pillows are filled with 100% polyester wadding and covered with poly-cotton or pure cotton fabric. We offer pillows in various filling weights and sizes depending on the desired degree of support. We also manufacture orthopaedic pillows that are specially designed to properly support the head, neck and shoulders and to align the spine correctly. Their orthopaedic properties are ensured by the specially configured elastic core, which is surrounded by 100% hydrophilic polyester wadding. All our pillows are non-allergic and washable.

Comforel® Pillows:  The DuPont Invista Comforel® Pillow is built from resilient materials that provide an excellent night of sleep. The specially created fiber puffs in this pillow provide plush, lofty support. It is considered the ultimate hypo-allergenic pillow. Its anti-microbial fiber inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, molds and fungus in the pillow. Covered in 230-thread count 100% cotton its washes & dries without lumping.

Polyester Wadding: Our exclusive thermobonded polyester wadding has some unique features that include right weight/volume ratio for styling and designing, exceptional dimension and volume stability and fibre uniformity. It is produced in rolls of density varying from 80g/m² to 600g/m² and up to 300cm wide. Our polyester wadding is made up of virgin hollow conjugated siliconised or non-siliconised polyester fibre mixed with low melt polypropylene stable fibre and passed through an oven to acquire its thermobonding properties.

Cotton wadding: Our cotton wadding is used by the furniture and bedding industries for the stuffing of futons, upholstery rolls, mattresses and other fine furniture. Our thermobonded wadding is made up of 100% white pure cotton and low melt fibre and produced in rolls of density varying from 200g/m² to 600g/m² and up to 300cm wide.

Polyurethane Foam: Polyurethane (PU) foam is the product of a chemical reaction, involving the polymerisation of isocyanides and polyols. PU foam is rated based on density and the degree of firmness with the higher the density, the more durable the foam becomes. We produce foam in pieces or in rolls of different densities both of low and high resilience ranging from 20kg/m³ to 40kg/m³. It is used in the mattress, furniture, pharmaceutical and clothing business. 

Black (recycled) Needled Cotton Felt: Felts are the ideal products to be used as low cost mattress filling. Our needled punched felts are widely used with ticking during deep quilting process as filler pads. The needle punched cotton felts are produced from reclaimed fibres. We offer felts in pads or in rolls with different volume density and sizes.   

Resin Bonded Hard Felt: Resin bonded hard felt plays another important role as an over spring insulator material especially during the manufacture of innerspring mattresses and sofas, while it is also used in carpet under padding applications. We can offer hard felt in different densities and thickness and it is easily handled and cut to the required dimensions
